Ordering – We carry most items and can order the medication for the next business day if we don’t have it in stock. Chain pharmacies have their own warehouses and receive deliveries once a week, so you either have to wait a week or not receive your medications at all.
Finding Generic Alternative – If you cannot afford the price of medication or medication is not covered by your insurance, we can try to find which medication they cover in their therapeutic formulary. By calling your insurance company or talking to your doctor we can find the cheapest alternative in a timely manner.
Delivery – We can deliver medication to you if you live locally, whereas chain pharmacies do not offer that service. If you are sick, you can still get it on the same day versus chain pharmacies where you have to go there or find somebody who can pick up your medications.
Counseling & Staffing – At Apopka Discount Drugs, we offer personal and professional service and counseling regarding all your medical questions. We can accommodate your work schedule based on rush hours versus chain pharmacies where pharmacists do not have any control. We make decisions by ourselves and do not have corporate guidelines.
